Where will your money go?

We don’t even have to tell you just where it *will* go. We can tell you where it actually goes.

See last year we managed to raise a little over $20,000. And in the real world that means:

  • Two training mannequins for our nurse educators to teach generations of anaesthetics and recovery nurses all about airways and cannulas.

  • A range of devices vital to putting a breathing tube in a small person who needs an operation.

  • A handheld ultrasound to assist with procedures all over the hospital to look after kids. That will be in use multiple times every hour.

An ultrasound that lets you see beneath the surface is a game changer for procedures.

So we promise every single dollar you raise can make a difference.

With $500, we can help purchase medical equipment that helps with critical airway management.

With $2500, we can purchase special medication pumps for providing the unique anaesthesia required for children.

With $10,000 we can make sure we have medical equipment for even more difficult situations where special equipment is needed to place children on life support.

If we raise $30,000 we can introduce cutting edge training systems to practice our most challenging anaesthesia care.

If we raise $60,000 we can purchase further ultrasound equipment to help with some of our most important procedures.

These are just a few of the areas where your fundraising will help.

We also have educators using their talents to train clinicians from all backgrounds to be part of looking after children and young people.

And our research team is working on creating world-leading artificial intelligence systems to enhance patient care and explore the very latest in anaesthesia technology. Plus we’re working on finding ways to use newer technology such as virtual or augmented reality to fundamentally change how we support kids through procedures.

Your fundraising can help all of these teams change the future.
