A little bit of history …

The story of paediatric anaesthesia goes back a long way. That includes the history from our department over the years.

Perhaps the best thing to do is to get someone to tell just one of those stories…

Turns out it isn’t just a bit of history. It’s almost an origin story.

Every one of us who does paediatric anaesthesia has a story about how we got here. For most of us it doesn’t involve our own operation.

This is just one of those stories and one example of the many things that inspire us every day to look after kids.

And it’s one of those reasons we could not be more thankful for all those chipping in to support what we do and those who are joining us in the challenge.

Everyone is supporting stories like this. There might end up being more to come.
